Getting Rid Of Puffy Eyes

In this article you are going to learn some effective methods on how to get rid of bags under the eyes the eyes. The methods here are very effective but should the first method you try doesn't work, be sure to try another method before giving up.

Eye bags is a concern that all of us as human beings may have to face at some point when we are aging and gravity starts to act up on us. There are several parts of our bodies that gets affected as such but the skin is the organ that shows it the most. It will start to droop and sag which then results in the bags appearing in the first place.

Most people would rather some less evasive methods that surgery even though surgery is an option. Here are some of the most common method to get rid of eye bags. Some will include items you will tend to have around your house and this therefore means you can see about applying them whilst relaxing at night.

1. The first thing you can do, and which is one of the most common methods, is to actually cover them with makeup. You may not get it right on the first application but after a few attempts you'll have a good idea on exactly how to hide these eye bags with makeup.

Another method that you may or may not be familiar with is the adding of cucumber slices over your eyes, with good reason. They work by managing to reduce the puffiness that comes with bags and this is achieved by constricting the blood vessels which in turn reduces the swelling. This is why other people swear by using items such as tea bags, slices of potato, and even spoons because as long as it is cold they should make a difference.

Here you can see that adding something cold to your eyes will help to rid the bags and so this may be your best remedy especially if your eyes are extremely sensitive. In order to get best results, make sure you apply a little pressure so that the cold can penetrate your eyes for a few minutes.

Other than adding substances directly to your eyes, there are other things that you can do. Two things are connected to sleeping as it has been shown that not getting enough sleep will start to make those bags appear and whilst in your bed look at sleeping with your head at a slightly higher angle than you are at present. This reason for raising your head above your body level is to prevent fluids from gathering under your eyes which can cause them to look really puffy when you wake up.

So the main tips on how to get rid of bags under the eyes is to consider concealing them with makeup, use things that are cold to reduce swelling, and sleep with your head higher at night to prevent as much fluid building. A combination should ultimately lead to you noticing a difference and over time those bags will become less apparent.
